Camp
Scully has 22 acres of land on which are 10 children’s cabins,
playing fields, hiking trails, beach area, archery field, ropes
course and recreation hall. Campers spend their week with 9 other
children in their age group and two adult counselors. Cabins are
split by gender and are in separate areas of the camp. Children
arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Friday evening.
All campers share 3 meals a day served family style in our dining hall.
An afternoon snack is also provided. To help incorporate our values,
campers travel throughout their camp day with their cabin groups.
While Camp Scully serves all children, it has been dedicated to serving
children from low-income families since its inception. This
commitment includes full or partial scholarships to over 80% of the
participants. Without this support many children would not have the
opportunity of attending summer camp. |

Pathfinder program. Whether day camp or overnight

Campers will have horseback riding
lessons in small groups. Campers will learn other aspects of horse
care including how to groom and tack a horse and basic equine first
aid. Campers will participate in barn chores and enjoy other horse
related activities such as making horse treats and fly spray. The
campers will make a variety of arts and crafts as well as play
some sports and games.!
We have full day or half day week long sessions. Camp starts the
week of June 23rd and continues through August 29th. Children may
come for one or more weeks. We accept campers between the ages of
6 and 14 years of age. Extended care is available. We offer a
multiple week and a multiple sibling discount. We are
conveniently located off exit 11 of the Northway - or just miles
from Route 50 in Burnt Hills.
