The Binghamton University Summer Dance Institute is a two-week intensive dance program for
 intermediate and advanced dance students with a minimum of five years’ dance training. Participants must be 10-18 years old. The program focuses on developing each dancer’s technique and encourages personal growth through ballet classes (technique, pointe, and variations), jazz, hip-hop, master classes, choreography, ballroom, and modern dance. The program culminates with a final performance recital for friends and family on Friday, July 18.

The Summer Youth Musical Theatre Workshop at Binghamton University is a three-week program for youth who want to participate in a real musical production while learning new skills and developing experience. This year the musical is “Beauty And The Beast”. Students must be between the ages of 12 & 18 to participate, have some on-stage experience and have sufficient vocal skills to carry a lead or chorus role. The program culminates with performances for the community.  For the Second Year: Overnight option available; plus, master classes and private lessons available for extra fee.
